Yoga for common lifestyle diseases/conditions

Lifestyle diseases/conditions and ailments are rampant in the modern world.

Most common being back pain, neck and shoulder pain, body stiffness, anxiety.

blood pressure, obesity, diabetes and cholesterol.

Modern fast-paced life takes our focus off from maintaining physical wellbeing.

Long sitting hours combined with poor diet and irregular sleep timing is in itself a recipe for chaos in the body add to that high-stress levels, smoking/drinking, poor sleep quality and other poor lifestyle choices… Result? Disaster!!

What one can observe in the above scenario is that we are “ON” like a machine all the time and never take the time to “SWITCH OFF” or unwind. Even a machine that is kept running for long has wear and tear and ultimately at some point will break down. Just like the machine humans also break down(just in a different way). We become depressed mentally and physically we are just so worn out. We haven’t given our body a chance to repair and recharge. A machine we can throw away but we can’t do the same with our body. So it's important to take care!!
